Quick tricks for busy moms

Pot scrubber: Take the mesh that onions come in. Roll it into a ball and scrub those non-stick pans.

Make pasta with less energy: fill your pot with water as usual, turn burner on high, put a lid or plate on top. When water boils, pour uncooked pasta into the water, stir once and then turn burner off. Replace the lid and your noodles will continue to cook.

No watch frying: If you are browning ground beef. Put your raw beef into the skillet and cook at medium heat. Place a lid on the skillet. The meat will cook slowly and you will only need to stir occasionally.

Less fat red meat: When your ground beef has finished cooking, drain the grease off. Then run it under hot water to wash away more fat. You can now season the meat.

These are just a few things that can help a busy mom.

About givethemavoice77

I'm a 30 something married mother of 6 kids. 3 girls, 2 boys and an angel in heaven. I am a stay at home mom and a home educator. I have 3 children with mental disabilities and learning disabilities. 1 child who just recently received an autism diagnoses. I love education, traveling in the US, researching autism, frugal living, fun family activities, spending hours on end in the library. Most people label me and my family as weird and nerdy.......I'm honored to have that title!
